Concentration

• increased conc = more particles in a certain volume = more particles have Ea -> more successful collisions in a certain time
• excess of acid = concentration
• If volume decreases + no. particles stay the same -> conc has increased (more particles per unit volume)
• to increase rate of reaction of an experiment with something dilute -> increase concentration
