Animal cruelty

• Inflicting pain during experimentation is okay for Aquinas
• Pain inflicted on animal's out of human cruelty is not okay
• Aquinas believed being intentionally cruel to an animal was morally wrong due to the implications it has on what the person could do to humans
• if someone hurts an animal "they might go on to do the same to men"
