  • Dance Walk: helps maintain body weight and ready for immediate action
  • Dance walk: can be forward, backward, and sideward
  • Run: Faster than a walk and requires more energy and power
  • Chassé or slide: gliding step in dancing in which one foot displaces the other
  • Sauté: a jump from two feet which lands on two feet
  • Sissonne: aa jump from two feet, landing on one foot
  • Falling: actions that aesthetically breath taking and catchy, usually in cheer dances
  • Turns: involves establishing an axis within the body
