• Successes:

  • More money and jobs generated due to the O2
  • More residents as houses/flats are being built, tube line extended and area is still growing
  • Made once unusable area usable
• Failures:

  • Lack of community feel as residents are busy or commuting elsewhere. May deter others from moving there
  • Expensive house prices forcing original residents to leave - only the rich can afford them
  • Homes built too slowly - wait lists and huge cost to government and tax payers. Money could be spent elsewhere
