  • (WEAVING) Lang Dulay
    • Started honing skills at a young age of 12.
    • She was famous for using traditional Filipino materials such as abaca fibers weaved into T'nalak cloth.
    • Through her weaving, Lang Dulay does what she can to keep her people’s traditions alive (Maricris Jan Tobias, NCCA)

    • At 12 years old, she asked her mother to teach her the art of weaving.
    • She was known for the quality of her work and the intricates of her designs, with binuwaya (crocodile) being her favorite.

    She was an acknowledged expert in weaving the Tausug head piece, pis syabit.
