Abortion is Wrong

• Jews who believe that abortion is wrong are referred to as Pro-Life as they believe it is wrong but exceptions can be made if it is to save the life of the mother.
• Jews who believe abortion is absolutely wrong are known as Absolute Moralists.
• S.O.W. - "If men who are fighting hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the husband and courts allow. But if there's serious injury, you have to take life for life." - Exodus 21:22-23. This shows equal value to the foetus and any other life.
• S.O.W. - "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5. It's made clear that God doesn't have to wait until birth to have plans for an individual.
