    • Enthalpy - is the measurement of energy in a thermodynamic system.
    • Enthalphy System - the heat of a system
    • Temperature - the factor that affects evaporation, condensation, melting, freezing, sublimation, and deposition.
    • Evaporation - the process that changes liquid water to gaseous water (water vapor)
    • Evaporation (liguid to gas) - caused by heat which creates bubbles. It gains energy
    • Condensation (Gas to Liquid) - particles moves slower which is decreases energy
    • Condensation -  the process by which water vapor in the air is changed into liquid water
    • Melting (solid to liquid) - gains energy caused by heat (kinetic energy)
    • Melting -  change of a solid into a liquid when heat is applied. In a pure crystalline solid, this process occurs at a fixed temperature called the melting point; an impure solid generally melts over a range of temperatures below the melting point of the principal component.
    • Freezing (liquid to solid) - looses energy due to the absence of heat
    • Freezing - a phase transition where a liquid turns into a solid when its temperature is lowered below its freezing point. In accordance with the internationally established definition, freezing means the solidification phase change of a liquid or the liquid content of a substance, usually due to cooling.
    • Sublimation (solid to gas) - process of transformation directly from solid to the gaseous phase, without passing through an intermediate liquid phase. It occurs when the solid particles absorbs enough energy
    • Example of Sublimation: Dry Ice
    • Sublimation - The phenomenon is the result of vapor pressure and temperature relationships
    • Deposition (gas to solid) - gas to solid without liquid state. It occurs when thermal energy must be removed from gas.
    • Example of deposition: Snow
    • Evaporation
    • Condensation
    • Melting
    • Freezing
    • Sublimation
    • Deposition
    • Leucippus & Democritus - they believed that nature is consisted of two things: atoms and the void that surrounds them. They believe that atoms are physically but not geometrically seen.
    • John Dalton - presented concrete evidence that atom is the smallest particle
    • Hiringilya - the tagalog term for syringe
    • Atom - the smallest particle of an elements that has all the properties of an element
    • Angstrom - the measure of the size of an atom
    • Molecule: a group of atoms bonded together, representing the smallest fundamental unit of a chemical compound that can take part in a chemical reaction.
