Cyberbullying is when someone uses social media to deliberatley harm someone else

Trolling is when someone tries to cause public arguments with someone online
A troll may take part in a political discussion online , but only to make statements which would frustrate the other members of the discussion
Trolls cause public arguments for their own amusement or to gain attention
Problems like cyberbullying and trolling may be a result of the anonymity that the Internet gives people - They say things online that they wouldn't say if talking to someone face-to-face
The internet has made it easier for children to access inappropriate material (e.g., pornography, drugs and gambling)
Parents and schools can use parental-control-software to try and stop children from seeing inappropriate material
Sexting involves sending sexually explicit images or messages to other people
Sexting is more common as smartphones and video messaging applications have become more popular
Sexting can be dangerous as the person recieving these images may not be trustworthy
Sexting is dangerous as social media allows the person who recieves the images to forward someone else's images to anyone they want - There are now laws which try to prevent this
