  • Evaluation - Reliability
The second source of data used did not use an average of percentage enzyme activity which indicates their experiment was not repeated and therefore the results are possibly unreliable. In future a second source with a repeated experiment could be used for a more reliable comparison.
  • Evaluation - Validity
The experiment was carried out at room temperature which means that the temperature could have fluctuated, affecting the validity of the results as temperature affects enzyme activity. In future a temperature controlled water bath could be used.
  • Evaluation - Accuracy
A dropper was used in the experiment to create the catalase balls which could have affected the accuracy of the experiment as the catalase balls were not all exactly the same size. In future a thin syringe could be used to help control the accuracy of the size of each ball.
