Order of Magnitude

• 1 order of magnitude larger = an object is 10x the size of another
• 2 orders of magnitude larger = an object is 100x the size of another
• Order of magnitude is used in order to compare the sizes of different objects. Every order of magnitude is 10x greater than the one before
