Nervous System

• Ependymal cells - form the epithelial lining of the ventricles of the

  brain and the central canal of the spinal cord.
• Oligodendrocytes - produce myelin sheath around axons in the CNS
• Neuroglia - neurones of the CNS are supported by non-excitable

  glial cells. Glial cells continue to replicate throughout life.
