• What is Newton's first law?

  An object will stay still or travel at a constant speed in a straight line (i.e. constant velocity) unless acted upon by a result force
• What do all objects have?

  inertia
• What is inertia?

  resistance to change in motion (i.e. objects want to do what they are already doing)
