Scene 12 - Summary

• In Scene 12, Faustus & Mephastophilis join the Duke & the pregnant Duchess of Vanholt, Faustus asks the duchess if she has a desire for any special delicacy
• In Scene 12, the Duchess of Vanholt responds by stating she craves a dish of ripe grapes and Faustus provides her with the most delicious grapes
• In Scene 12, the Duchess of Vanholt asks how Faustus obtained them, when grapes are available only in summer & Faustus explains while it is winter here, it is summer in some far countries of the World
• In Scene 12, the Duke and Duchess of Vanholt promise to reward Faustus well for this great kindness
