Tree Rings

• trees are sensitive to changes in temperature, sunlight and precipitation
• in warm years trees have wider rings
• record can go back about 10 years
• It has good accuracy but only tells us about local areas.

  Its hard to know how much change due to temperature rather than rain/sunlight
