  • Plant Defences:
    Physical - cellulose cell walls, bark, tough waxy cuticle
    Chemical - antibacterial chemicals, poison production
    Mechanical - thorns and hairs, mimicry of poisonous plants, drooping leaves
    • Bacteria cause diseases by producing toxins that can damage tissues
    • Some examples of bacterial diseases are: Gonnorhea and Salmonella

    • Air
    • Water
    • Direct Contact
