vaccination
is a method of
artificially
inducing
immunity
so that we can become immune to a
pathogen
without getting
ill.
If you are vaccinated then you are less likely to catch the disease as the
vaccination
has given you
immunity
against it.
Vaccinating a
large
population means the disease is
less
likely to spread as almost everyone is
immune.
3 drawbacks of vaccinations:
Don't always give full
immunity
can cause
mild
symptoms
could in very rare cases cause
severe
reactions(seizures)
