• Positives to divine command theory: No grey area when it comes to decision making; there are set guidelines to follow; emotions won't cloud judgements.
• Negatives to divine command theory; All situations are different, so every situation needs a different response; to be truly moral beings, humans should make their own decisions and not simply follow instructions.
