  • identify seed and clean/ dry it
  • send to MSB
  • small amounts taken from plants
  • seeds stored in dry cold place (-20 degrees Celsius)
  • after a month a sample is taken to test for germination
  • if germination below 70% new sample is taken
  • if sample is above 70% then it is kept
  • germination tested every 10 years
