Spheres of the Earth

• Atmosphere


  which we casually refer to as simply ‘air’
• 5 Layers of Atmosphere: Troposphere, Stratosphere, Mesosphere Thermosphere, Exosphere
• Hydrosphere


  Is the water sphere of Earth. This includes the total amount of water that can be found on the whole planet, from that on the surface - like in lakes, oceans, rivers etc. as well as water underground, and in the air.
• Lithosphere


  Is the ‘earth’ or land portion of the Earth. It more specifically refers to the rocky outer surface of the Earth’s crust, and upper portion of the mantle.
• Biosphere


  Is the sphere of the earth which includes all organic, living life.
