  • Some studies show improvements but when the rewards stop eg. when leaving prison the offenders stop behaviour desirably
  • Offenders return to crime slower if they have gone through token economy
  • Token economies make prisoners more manageable when in prisons
  • Positive reinforcement: when a behaviour is more likely to occur to gain a positive reward
