Ministry of Justice

• The Ministry of Justice sets and carries out government policy. It is responsible for provision of legal aid, administration of justice through courts and tribunals, and detention and rehabilitation of offenders.
• The MoJ is responsible for providing a range of services (including courts, prisons, youth justice services and probation) that are focused on providing access to justice and punishing and rehabilitating offenders.
