    • primary socialisation - involves the socialisation between a parentchild ; this promotes norms and values
    • secondary socialisation - where wider society promotes norms and values
    This leads to the internalisation of rules and morality.
  • We believe in the ideas as right in themselves - we don't blindly obey. We think controlling ourselves is the right thing to do and we’re socialised into this behaviour from birth so we develop a rational ideology.
