Dealt with reliability (4)

Cards (1)

  • Reliability on age and sleep
To ensure reliability in our correlational study on sleep duration and screen time, we used standardised data collection methods—all participants completed the same sleep diary and questionnaire with identical instructions, ensuring consistency across responses. This helped reduce inconsistencies in how data was recorded and interpreted.
We also followed a clear and replicable procedure, which allowed the study to be repeated in future research under similar conditions. While we relied on self-report data, we improved reliability by collecting information over a full week, reducing the impact of one-off anomalies. These steps helped ensure our results were consistent and dependable.
