  • The Kingston Bridge is a bridging point over this river. This means there is a bottleneck of traffic which creates delays.
  • There is on street parking which restricts traffic flow. This means there can be delays and cause them to arrive to work late. It will also delay emergency services resulting in possible loss of life.
  • Roads often deteriorate and have large pot holes. This means roads works are common which disrupt the flow of traffic and create delays.
  • Glasgow's CBD attracts many people to shop and work from a large area. This means there will be many pedestrians disrupting traffic flow when they cross the road or use traffic lights.
  • Glasgow's CBD has a huge public transport system. This means vehicles such as buses and taxis stop them because a build-up of traffic behind them creating queues. It leads to frustration amongst drivers and increases likelihood of road accidents.
