• Located in Eastern Lagos
• One third of the slum is built on stilts along the lagoon due to land shortages
• Residents move around on canoes through waterways
• Population is unknown but is estimated to be between 85000 and 250000
• Illegal settlement so government have destroyed dozens of homes in the past in attempts to 'clean up the city'
