Church

• Christians worship in a church, by attending Mass. Christians pray together as a community in church on Sunday at Mass. They engage in worship through singing hymns and Bible reading, listening to sermons and participating in rituals like communion. They engage in communal worship by confessing their sins at the confession box, there their sins are forgiven.
• Ways I would encourage young people to go to a church

  • organising youth programs ; involves bible study and social benefits.
  • Portraying an effervescent attitude towards things in the church : I would do this by ensuring that the Priest talks about sermons that are insightful to the youths. Like the parable of the Prodigal Son. Lastly, I would encourage youths in the church to tell their peers about the Church, this would encourage more people to come.

  • Many steeples have a bell to remind Christians to pray
  • Alter - priest delivers the sermon and prepares the Eucharist.
  • tabernacle box where the Eucharist is kept
  • sanctuary lamp near the tabernacle symbolises Jesus as the light of the world.
  • Features inside the church ; Statue of Jesus,Mary and other saints. Candles for late loved ones.
  • stations of the cross - from the last days of Jesus
  • Confession box ; where the sins of Catholics are forgive.
• It is important to respect places of worship as we had great significance and spiritual value for religious people. A place of worship is a communal Place where people pray, reflect and particular events and express their religious beliefs. Disrespecting these places can cause a negative emotional impact given that these places of worship important to the hearts of people and their spiritual life.
