Titrations

• The burette is rinsed with acid before filling to remove any water
• The jetspace is looked at to check for air bubbles and blockages
• The walls of the flask should be washed to ensure all acid reacts with the solution
• Acid should be added drop by drop near the end to prevent overshooting the end point
