Different interpretations of the Genesis account of creation (Explanations)
Fundamentalist - Believes it's completely true - that God created the universe in six days and rested on the seventh. E.g. A fundamentalist view-taker would reject the fact that the big bang took place.
Non-literal - Believe that the Bible was written so that the people of that time understood it with limited scientific knowledge.
Mythological - Belief that the Genesis account of creation was a myth - the purpose of it was just to show God's qualties such as omnipotence and benevolence.
