  • Kippah:
    Use- Men cover their heads attending the synagogue or at a religious event or festival

    Importance - It is a sign of respect and fear of God. It is
    also felt that this separates God and human, by wearing a hat you are recognising that God is above all mankind.
  • Tefillin:
    Use- They are very holy objects to all Jewish men. Every male over the age of 13 must wear them while saying his morning prayers - except on Shabbat and festival days.
    Importance- the teffillin is important because it says
    in the Scriptures "to bind the word of God
    between your eyes and upon your arm".
  • Tallit:
    Use- It is a shawl that Jewish men wear during morning prayer and in the synagogue
    Importance- When a Jewish man wears a tallit, he is obeying one of the 613 laws in the Torah. For example, : "Speak to the Israelite people and instruct them to make for themselves fringes on the corners of their garments"
