• Chemistry - The branch of Science that deals with the identification of subtances of which matter is composed: the investigation of their mixture
• Matter - occupies space and has mass and volume.
• Heat and Light are not matter because they are both types of energy
• Matter is made out of tiny particles and spaces
• Mass - the amount of matter or the weight
• Volume - measure of the space occupied by the object
• Solid has a fixed shape and volume
• Solids cannot be compressed
• Solids cannot flow
• Liquid takes the shape of the container
• Liquids cannot be compressed
• Liquids can easily flow
• Gas takes the shape of the container
• Gas can be compressed
• Gas can easily flow
