  Formal interview, set questions, researcher does not deviate:

  + Easy to compare + Less chance of interviewer bias + Easy to replicate - May not find insight
• Unstructured Interview


  Informal interview, no set questions, questions develop through interview:

  + Can find insight - Difficult to compare responses - Chance of interviewer bias - Difficult to replicate
• Semi Structured Interviews


  Mixture of set questions and unset questions.

  + Can find insight - Chance for interviewer bias

  - Difficult to replicate - Can be difficult to compare responses
