• Honour killings- a crime that is committed to protect/defend the honour of the family/community. In some countries across the Middle East and Asia, honour killings are allowed. Most of Western society don't allow honour killings.
• Homosexuality- the sexual relationship between people of the same sex. The UK and most Western countries allow it but India has recently put laws in place criminalising homosexuality and Nigeria has banned it.
• Adultery- sexual relationship between a married person and someone other than their spouse. The UK and most Western countries allow it, countries governed by Islamic law do not.
