God the Son

• Although he is known as God the Son, Jesus is believed to be God made flesh.
• Jesus was both fully human and fully divine, meaning that was fully God and fully human at the same time.
• When God came to earth as Jesus, he showed humans the perfect way to live and Catholics try to live off His teachings from His time on earth. When Jesus died on the cross, He paid the price for our sins and so we can be forgiven and go to heaven. His resurrection also showed Catholics that there is life after death.
• 'Lamb of God' is the term used to show that Jesus was God's sacrifice.
