    • Could have operated under tsarism (workers and farmers reform)

    • Ideas weren't a fundamental challenge to the Tsar. Wanted limited reforms amd no reform to the political system.
  • THE SOCIAL REVOLUTIONARIES-
    • Emerged from the populist movement
    • Wanted to improve living conditions.
    • In 1905 they split and the left side did 2000 political killings including tsars uncle. They also focused on industrial workers.
    • And the right side worked with other parties and gathered support post 1905 revolution.
  • THE SRS EVEIDENCE THEY WERE A THREAT-
    • SR had the most support up until 1917.
    • Different factions appealed to urban proletariat and peasants.
    • Direction action showed they were willing to use force -danger.
