  • Article 1 - General Ethical Principle
    Guidance counselors should abide by the ethical principle, not misuse the professional relationship, be devoted to accomplishment of the counseling, grow professionally

    Counselors should establish and maintain good relations, respect the integrity and personhood, recognize differences, clarify his role, establish professional relationships, explain results, give info only for help, recommend referral
  • Article 3 - Relationship with community
    Counselors should establish a relationship that benefits both, show regard or recognition to social code and moral expectations, understand traditions, attend to needs for wholesome community spirit

    Counselors should initiate peer relations, high standards of competence, professional level, consult with courtesy, give accurate info, hold responsible for proper permission
  • Article 5 - Research and Publication
    Counselors should undertake research to contribute advancement, adhere to high standards of methodology, maintain confidentiality of the subjects, acknowledge sources of ideas and opinions
  • Article 6 - Miscellaneous Provisions
    Sec 6 Administrative Penalties - Any registered and licensed Guidance Counselor who violates any provision of this Code shall be administratively liable under Sec. 24, Art. Ill of RA No. 9258 and Sec. 24, Rule Ill of Board Resolution No. 02, Series of 2007,
    the "RR of R.A No. 9258 ".
