Basic Drafting Tools

• T-Square - used when making horizontal lines; guiding triangles when drawing vertical lines
• Triangles - 3 sided ruler
• Compass - used when drawing arcs and circles
• Divider - used when transferring measurements, dividing lines and arcs into the desired number of equal parts
• Protractor - used to determine gradation the degrees when measuring arcs, angles and circles
