    • 280 million people rely on it for the water it provides
    • It is Egypt's only source of water
    • Most of Egypt specialises in agriculture so they are very reliant on water
  • The New Valley (Toshka) Project: Egypt and Ethiopia plan to build a system of canals to move 10% of the Nile River's water to irrigate lands near the Toshka lakes in Southeastern Egypt
