• Physical Perspective Calamities are phenomena that cause great physical damage in a community infrastructure, its people, and their properties, ex. houses and environmental sources of living.
• Psychological Perspective Disasters are mostly unpredictable, which leave the

  victims in a state of shock. They tend to deny the loss and try to escape from reality.
• Socio-Cultural Perspective Filipinos are generally known as "matiisin", resourceful, helpful, optimistic, and prayerful.

  The culture of "malalampasan din natin to., "belief" and "bahala na ang Diyos" syndrome give hope to most Filipino in the midst of a disaster.
• Economic Perspective Impacts of disaster in the__aspect include the state of the social well-being and the financial resources of the community.
• Political Perspective Disaster may affect public opinion about the government because citizens can feel and see how the government handled the effects of a disaster.
• Biological Perspective The disturbing effects caused by a prevalent kind of disease or virus in an epidemic or pandemic level.
• Pandemic Level biological disaster affects a much larger region, sometime spanning entire contimentsor the gloe.
• Epidemic Level biological disaster effects large

  numbers of people within a given community or area. ex. Dengue
• Prediction is a statement of the probability of hazards to occur based on a number of evidences or observations.
• Warning is a signal that tells of a high probability of occurrence of a hazard.
• Climate and Weather Related Hazard Areas with low elevation is more prone to impacts of typhoons and floods. Also, areas with poor drainage systems, located near bodies of water can be prone to floods as well.
• Geophysical Related Hazard Areas that are deep-focused, are prone to earthquakes because of its trench and nearby

  active faults. Earthquakes are more prominent in areas near

  fault lines.
• Man-Made Related Hazards are hazards can be caused by faulty electrical wiring, children playing with matches, candles left unattended, burning garbage, leaking LPG tanks, and using firewood in cooking
