  Advantages

  • Improved efficiency , reduced delivery time, speeds up manufacturing process, improves customer satisfaction, reduce unit labour cost , reduce strain on workers, reduce needs to work in tenious environment , increase in demand for software engineers.

  Disadvantage

  • Workers can"t " switch off from work", high dependence , sensitive informations can be unknowingly shared, creating computerisation
• Automated decision making

  Determines wwhat diffferent users should be displayed on their social media feed , based on user interaction and interferance . This is used in various application process to determine a persons suitability for certain things e.g mortgage, loans.

  • Improved productivity,convenience for employers

  Disadvantage

  • People judged and treated unfairly, bias
• Closed-mind society

  Reinforces peoples interest leading to a dangerous bubble, which believes are challenged .
• Algorithms

  Must be tested throughly to produce high quality piece of software , free from bias against any group of people. Since algorithms are human created there's no elimination of biase which is why algorithms must remain in a black box.

  Justified level of human input which is essential for fairness.
• Ai ( Artificial intelligence )

  Ability of computer to replicate human intelligience; cognitive ablity and grasp abstract content
• Diagnosing with Artificial intelligence

  Expert system( knowledge based system ) replicates expert knowledge in particular subject & topic ( consisting of facts and rules) which are then used to build inference engine.
• Use of Artificial intelligence

  Neutal network - replicates biological neutral network. It "learns " from data set, and makes usage of that knowledge to apply to a new data set.

  Voice recognition e.g alexa, google home. The advantage of this is it increases convenience, but at a cost of privacy.
• Environmental effect

  More devices & things are thrown away; computers built out of radioactive materials can have dangerous (toxic) release to the atmosphere which contributes to global warming.
• Environmental immorality

  E-waste are shipped to countries with low environmental standards. The increase in production of device means an increase in electricity which makes use of non renewable fossil fuel which increases greenhouse gases and therefore increases global warming.

  Act of suppressing content people are able to view , publish and have access to

  Believe that censorships are only used to push certain ideologies which could be considered unethical

  The believe that nothing on the internet should be filtered or hidden, in same likeness of a free speech in which resources that are shared on the internet are mutually shared and benefitted from ( Tim Berners - lee) whom created the world wide web
