• Primary green crimes - anything that damages the Earth, regardless of if it is illegal
• Secondary green crimes - actions that break laws intended to protect the planet, often intentionally
• Hobbs and Dunningham - glocal crime: crime networks still operate on a local scale, but now they have global links too
