  • St Thomas Aquinas believed that humans had a physical body and a God-given soul which is what makes us different from any other species.
  • Aquinas believed that all human beings are fundamentally good and don't have a natural tendency to commit evil or perform sinful acts. He believed that when humans sin, it was the result of a mistake as humans aren't perfect and make mistakes.
  • Aquinas's beliefs were written in a very important work called the Summa Theologica.
