Scene 11

• A few weeks later another poker night unravels, whiles Stella packs Blanche’s clothes.
• We find out that Blanche has accused Stanley to her, but Stella doesn’t believe her.
• A doctor and a Matron arrive, and after answering Banche runs back in the house.
• As the Matron and Stanley close in on her, she becomes hysterical and cries to be left alone. Mitch is furious and strikes Stanley.
• The doctor comes in, and immediately calms Blanche down, he takes her away around the corner.
• The play ends with Stella crying her name regretfully. Stanley comforts her, however he already starts to reach down her blouse.
