Neurons work through chemicals called neurotransmitters VS glands control chemical signals called hormones
Neurotransmitters attach to receptors after traveling a very short distance VS hormones reach target cells by traveling long distances in the blood
Nervous system works very fast VS endocrine system works slower
Nervous system have rapid and short lived effect VS endocrine system has slow and long lasting effect
