• What is a parasite?

  A parasite is an organism that benefits, in terms of nutrients, from its host. The host is harmed by this. Parasites often have limited metabolism and cannot survive put of contact with a host.

  an organism that functions as a carrier of an infectious agent between organisms of a different species.
• What is the difference between the two different types of symbiosis?

  Mutualism, both benefit; Parasitism, one benefits, one harmed
