  • Casual verb endings?
    Casual:
    with final consonant:
    • if last vowel of the verb is or : add 아. E.g., 살아
    • if last vowel of the verb is NOT or : add 어. E.g., 읽어 (read/reads/is reading)
    without final consonant:
    • vowels combined into one syllable. E.g., 와 (come/comes/is coming)
    • if ends in 하, it becomes
  • Verb endings for polite form?

    Same as casual except add
  • Honorific form of verb endings?
    If verb stem ends in consonant: add 으세요, if verb ends in vowel: add 세요
  • Casual adjective endings?
    • If the last vowel of the stem is or : add 아. E.g., 맑아
    ***if stem ends in ㅡ, don‘t Count it as last vowel, the vowel before is the last vowel. E.g., 나쁘 becomes 나빠 (bad)***
    • if last vowel is not ㅏ or : add 어. E.g., 재미있어
    • If no final consonant, vowels combined to one syllable like 흐려 (cloudy)
    • if ends in 하, becomes 해, like똑똑해
    • If last vowel of stem is and ends with ㅂ: delete ㅂ and add 와.
    • If last vowel of stem is not ㅗ
    • And ends in ㅂ: delete ㅂ and add 워
