Water Treatment

• Water from river flows through screens, which strains floating trash.
• After flowing through the screens, water goes through the river water pumping station.
• After the river water pumping station, water flows through the storage reservoir, where the water is treated with a small amount of ozone to disinfect it.
• After water is disinfected with ozone, it flows through the precipitators, which is used to clear solid particles.
• After water goes through precipitators, it goes through sand filters and then flows through the main ozone pump, which gives the water the main dose of ozone to break down pesticides and other materials.
• After water flows through the main ozone pump, it goes through the activated carbon granules, which absorb some of the chemicals.
• After water flows through the activated carbon granules, it goes throuhg the micro strainers and then a small amount of chlorine is used to disinfect water. It then flows through the service reservoir and is safe to drink.
