visible light

• the primary colours are red green and blue
• when all the different colours are mixed it creates white light
• opaque objects do not transmit light and absorb and reflect wavelengths
• black objects absorb all wavelengths of visible light
• transparent objects transmit light
• colour filters are used to filter out different wavelengths of light so that only certain colours are transmitted and the rest are absorbed
