    Also known as knowledge map, advance organizer, concept map or diagram. A tool to communicate using various symbols to express ideas, concepts, and thoughts. Its main purpose is to provide and give a clear visual aid to facilitate instruction and learning. It eases the writer to expand and associate different ideas to a given topic using this technique.
