The conflicting interests between influential countries on the one hand, and the Balkan countries on the other wanted to control the Balkan region led both sides into clash.
At about 1912 countries Serbia, Bulgaria, and Greece Romania, fought Ottoman Turkey, and took away a significant amount of land
The countries fought against Turkey on one side, and once again began to fight each other making Serbia stronger than before.
This event worried the Austro-Hungary which also wanted to control the region.
