    They belief that there is no purgatory. they believe that there is a heaven and hell though. they believe in sola fida.
  • what does sola fida indicate? Where is it found?
    It is within the protestants of the Christians.
    Through faith alone - person can gain entry into heaven. Can't buy entry with good beahviour, moreso the grace of god will allow one in.
  • what do catholics believe happens after death?
    the soul seperates from the body, and is judged to determine whether the soul enters heaven, hell or purgatory. Catholics believe in the resurrection of the dead, meaning that at the end of time, all people will be raised from the dead, body and soul, and reunited with their bodies in a glorified state.
  • why do protestants not believe in purgatory?
    because purgatory is not explicity stated in the bible, therefore do not accept it as a valid doctorine. They believe in Sola Fide - salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not through any works or rituals, including the purification in purgatory.

    samsara occurs - reincarnation. the circumstances of one's rebirth is determined by their Karma. If one developed bad Karma during their life, they will experience a bad reincarnation. Moksha is then achieved after the reincarnation cycle, which is the highest attainment a Hindu can achieve.

    • Artha: Pursuing material prosperity and security.
    • Kama: Seeking emotional fulfillment and pleasure.Moksha is about achieving self-realization, self-actualization, and self-knowledge, leading to a state of eternal peace and bliss

Judgement will occur, every Muslim will be hold accountable for their intentions. The Quran emphasizes the concept of accountability and the idea that every individual will be recompensed according to their deeds.

    Hell - Jahannam: Conversely, hellfire is described as a place of punishment for those who rejected Allah's guidance and lived a life of disobedience. It is a place of torment and suffering.

  • how is heaven viewed in Judaism?
    Heaven is seen as "Sheol"- a place where pain and anxiety do not exist. Hebrew Bible speaks of afterlife as shady place called Sheol. According to the Bible, the souls of the deceased go “down” to Sheol after the body dies. A person can gain entrance into this utopian afterlife through righteous living, as well as repentance. Many Jews believe they will be reuinted with family members who have passed after death. You do not have to be Jewish to gain entry into heaven - according to Jewish teachings.

    Genion. There are varied views on Heaven and Purgatory. Reformed Jews - believe that God has an ultimately caring nature, which eliminates the possibility of a torturous afterlife, while Tradtional Jews believe in hell called Genion. Genion is viewed as the dark pit in the Torah - it’s an intermittent destination of unrighteous people. Some references state that after death, an unrighteous soul remains in Genion for 12 months, undergoing a purification process.
